Client Type single-family custom home developer
Scope of Work landscape design and install of flora, irrigation, steelwork, ground cover, fencing
Project Goals our client, a property developer, wanted to landscape that 1) accentuated the striking form of the home’s architecture, 2) allowed the home’s residents to feel a connection to the neighboring pocket park while also providing a feeling of privacy and 3) was able to be delivered on-time and with minimal budget.
Execution: we took advantage of existing mature pecan trees to frame the home and lot and then created a tiered, steel landscape structure to orient sitelines and visibility to and from the house. Native plant selections were installed to frame those sitelines and walkways while still deferring to the form of the structure.
